Questions about ac replacement
We diagnose it first. If the fault is a capacitor, a fan motor, a drain or a small leak, it is a repair, whatever the age of the system. Replacement comes up when the compressor or a coil has failed on an older system, when the repair cost approaches the value of the system, or when the same system keeps failing. We give you both numbers and let you decide.
Yes. Bring the quote and we will diagnose the system ourselves. If it can be repaired sensibly, we will say so.
Sometimes. A matched replacement of one component is possible when the other is in good condition and compatible. We will tell you when a partial replacement makes sense and when it does not.
$120 for a residential service call and $150 for a commercial diagnostic. The replacement itself is quoted in writing after the assessment.
